Michael Iademarco, MD, MPH, is a physician executive and retired Rear Admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service with more than three decades of leadership experience spanning healthcare delivery, public health systems, research, and global health strategy. Throughout his distinguished career, he has led complex organizations, guided national initiatives, and advanced innovative solutions at the intersection of clinical medicine and public health infrastructure.
As Owner and Principal of Allure Associates LLC, Dr. Iademarco brings a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented approach to executive advisory and career coaching. He is known for his straightforward leadership style, high energy, and focus on transformative change—helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.
Dr. Iademarco’s expertise spans clinical medicine, biomedical research, laboratory systems, informatics, pandemic preparedness, and international health. One of his most significant accomplishments was leading the creation of the Office of Long COVID Science and Practice, which coordinated the federal response to the longer-term effects of COVID-19. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Iademarco took on several high-impact operational roles. He led Operation Warp Speed’s Testing and Diagnostics Workgroup, driving national testing capacity and supporting the distribution of more than five billion tests across a presidential transition. He also coordinated epidemiologic support to the White House Medical Unit, demonstrating the importance of applied public health expertise during national
emergencies. He has a demonstrated ability to translate highly technical and scientific domains into strategic insight that resonates with C-suite executives, policymakers, and private sector stakeholders. His work consistently bridges diverse perspectives, aligning multidisciplinary teams around a unified vision and actionable strategy.
